Borland anuncia que abandona el seu entorn integrat de desenvolupament... això vol dir que abandona el mercat de les eines de desenvolupament.
Encara recordo quan programava en Turbo Pascal (primer) i Turbo C/Borland C++ (més endavant...).

[News.com] Microsoft driver flaw saps battery strength. Això és demencial... Microsoft ha confirmat l'existència d'un problema al controlador USB 2.0 inclòs a Windows XP Service Pack 2 que provoca un elevat consum d'energia, molt més del que caldria esperar. Aquest problema era conegut per Microsoft des de juliol del 2005, però només disponible pels usuaris de Microsoft Premier (una còpia de l'article ha estat publicada)
Microsoft published a Knowledge Base article on the subject in July 2005, but made that information available only to PC vendors and partners, a company representative said in a statement. The software maker is not releasing the article to the public, but a copy was posted on Slashdot that industry sources have confirmed was the original article.
In that article, Microsoft outlined a problem with its USB 2.0 drivers that prevents a mobile processor from entering advanced sleep states designed to minimize power consumption.

 Porta un dies ja en funcionament, però no ho havia vist fins avui. Microsoft organitza els Scripting Games MMVI, una mena de concurs que dura fins el proper dia 24 de febrer, divendres vinent, on es plantegen una sèrie de reptes que cal resoldre'ls programant un script.

Un dels meus llocs preferits de Barcelona. Hi ha el Palau Reial Major, el Mirador del Rei Martí (un autèntic gratacels del segle XVI... algú sap si es pot visitar per dins?), la Capella de Santa Àgata i el Palau del Lloctinent.
