Pels usuaris de Windows XP amb pantalles TFT i LCD... ClearType Tuner per adaptar els paràmetres de visualització de ClearType a la vostra pantalla i els vostres ulls. Ara la meva pantalla és encara més llegible.
Avís: és un control ActiveX, de forma que únicament funciona si feu servir l'Internet Explorer.

[eWeek] Analysts: Windows Mobile 5.0 Security Falls Short, Windows Mobile 5.0 (que es presenta com el «Blackberry killer») té importants deficiències en el referent a la seguretat segons un estudi presentat ahir divendres:
According to a pair of analysts at Gartner Inc., the security improvements "are insufficient and do not meet basic enterprise security needs." "[The Feature Pack] does not go far enough with security for enterprise-wide deployment," said a report from Gartner researchers Dion Wiggins and Nick Ingelbrecht. The report recommended that businesses use third-party vendor security add-ons to make Windows suitable for mobile use.
Gartner has long been critical of security on Microsoft's Pocket PC platform. Back in 2002, a scathing report said that Microsoft would have to raise security on the platform—significantly—to make it enterprise-ready, and three years later the research outfit has very much the same message.
"Microsoft has missed an opportunity to show leadership in mobile security and have the market declare that the company has made Windows Mobile 5.0 secure," Wiggins and Ingelbrecht added.

Are McDonald's products worse for you than other fast food? Anecdotal data suggests that McDonald's is less like food than its local equivalent and therefore the answer is "yes." (However, for people who tend to leave food unrefrigerated around the house for days, McDonald's may be an ideal choice.)
Un experiment que ha consistit en deixar dues hamburguesa amb patates fregides fora de la nevera durant una setmana. Una d'aquestes hamburgueses l'havien comprat en un restaurant local on el material es preparat allà mateix. La segona, a un McDonald's. El resultat: passada una setmana, l'hamburguesa i les patates fetes de forma artesanal estan totalment florides... mentre que a les del McDonald's pràcticament no hi ha cap fong.
Tot això, il·lustrat amb fotos de l'hamburguesa i les patates.
